I've gone through a metric ton of various lights, but these may end up being the ones I stop with. The ability to sync, add, remove lights, and control them either manually or with the app make these lights killer. The lights with the mounts are a little on the big side but I can live with that. Hope the battery life is good.
They work great and work as advertised. It changes the whole dynamic of night riding.
Ordered the 4 light set including the SL-300+ and the SL-R1+. One of the SL-300+’s would connnect after charging. Emailed ShredLights and had a replacement within three days. Wow! Minimal downtime and now I have no issues. What a great company!
Like many others, I was also initially hesitant to buy Shredlights due to the price. I relied on some cheap lights from Amazon that I clip on my bag, one in front and one (red) in the back. It worked to make me noticeable to cars at night, but it's completely useless for seeing what's on the ground ahead of me to prevent accidents. In the end, I decided to buy Shredlights and it turns out to be a serious gamechanger. It's not only easy to install, easy to manage (Bluetooth group and the app), but the lights are also strong for such a small device. When I told my mom about my purchase, she heard the price and told me it's not worth it, encouraging me to return Shredlights and she'll buy me this powerful light stick that sticks in your backpack or something. But after I showed her a video of me riding in complete darkness while still being able to see what's ahead with the help of Shredlights, she immediately relented and said, "Those are some good lights," not even caring about the price anymore. You can see my setup in the pictures. I had to switch the front and back bracket to make things fit.
I've tried cheaper options on Amazon - you get what you pay for. I've come to realize with anything Longboard/skateboard related, it's best to invest. I currently have two ShredLights and a bunch of brackets. 4 of my longboards (2 Electric and 2 regular) have brackets on them so I can easily remove and place the lights for each board depending on what I'm riding. Literally takes 10 seconds. I was worried at first that the brackets might get in the way when not in use but I forget they're there until I need them. It's made night riding an absolute blast and far less dangerous. Highly recommend.
I bought this Shredlights bundle with the SL1000+ and the SL-R1+ to increase my visibility when riding my skateboard. I wanted a lighting solution that was adaptable and modular, since I didn't design my battery pack to run integrated lights. I am happy with the lights and the feature set. The SL-1000s are waaayyyy brighter than I thought, but they provide great visibility in the Alaska winters and to drivers when I am on the road. I love the brake functionality on the SL-R1s they compliment my helmet brake light well, and they too are waaayyy brighter than I expected even in daylight. I did have an issue with one of the original SL-R1s I was sent. After charging, the light simply stopped casting a beam, but would still turn on (It would get warm to the touch). I sent an email to Shredlights support and they handled everything, sending out a new one the next business day, and I received it within the week. The Shredlights app and the Bluetooth functionality does provide some great customization options, but you should expect to still have to turn them on manually after 20 minutes. Furthermore, I do think the packaging for shipping leaves much to be desired, especially when shipping to Alaska. There simply is not enough protection for the lights, and I believe that's how the single SL-R1 was damaged. Nonetheless, between the quality of the lights and the customer service, I can say I am a happy customer!

Needed some lights for my Appollo City Scooter for my evening commute from work and these SL-FX+ are a great visual option. Will be more in the near future.
quality lights.. like these are for real and solid to do what we need them to do with good metal mounting brackets. Love the app and worked perfect. Thanks guys.. ok i was practical and got just the headlights and rear lights, but I’m coming back for the underboard multi-color lights next…

With its Bluetooth function, this is currently the best light on the market rn. However, sometimes it may not turn on upon arrival, so you may need to charge it first. Use the provided chargers for charging, as their USB-C may be different from your USB-C
They all sync up and are easily controlled with your phone app. Not perfect but still the best out there right now. Also very good and fast customer service on their team
The Bluetooth app takes forever to reconnect to the light. You'll either have to turn them on manually or just wait.
The lights are easy to attach, and the light combinations grabs everyone attention where ever you are!
These lights look so good on my electric longboard I have been heading out most nights to ride on a cloud. Will probably scoop another for my helmet 10/10

They really are the real deal. Bright. Easy to charge. Super easy install. And the ability to group and control in the app, including seeing the power levels, really really handy. Love that they're rechargeable.
I'm particularly fond of the pulse setting.

Had to do a warranty claim and the customer service at ShredLights was super helpful, super responsive and replaced my light with no issue at all five out of five stars for your customer service for sure.
